Greetings to you all from the side of the UK that gets less rain!

I'm missing you all and have to report that I haven't done any reading yet because I've been trying to get the work finished and unpack at the same time. But thanks very much to Hilary for 'Restraint of Beasts' - I will soon be an official member of the book group once I've read that!

Thanks also for the beautiful card with the images of the area I grew to love and for the great party! Sorry not all of you could be there - we'll have to have another to make up for it!

If you're ever in this part of the world, please let me know. You're all welcome to stay but bring your ear plugs because the Blackwall Tunnel road is pretty noisy.
